The Wolf Cub rank focuses on building essential life skills and self-reliance. The adventures in the Wolf rank are designed to provide Wolves with a sense of accomplishment and self-sufficiency.
In order to make rank, a Wolf Cub must complete the 5 required adventures and at least 2 of the elective adventures. The required adventures are summarized below but can be found in much further detail in your Scout's handbook:
Council Fire - In this adventure, Wolves will build a model community and become an active member in your community.
Footsteps - In this adventure, Wolves are encouraged to learn more about their family's traditions.
Paws on the Path - In this adventure, Wolves will take a walk outside as a den, identifying signs of nature.
Running With the Pack - In this adventure, Wolves will learn about eating foods that give you proper nutrition, exercising regularly, and getting proper rest.
Safety in Numbers - In this adventure, Wolves, with their parents/guardians, will learn about the ”Protect Yourself Rules” and the things that you can do to keep yourself safe.
Beyond these required adventures, there are various elective adventures from the handbook that we include in our Scouting program that include activities like creating and deciphering codes, water conservation, studying coins and more while teaching the Wolves the values in the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
For the 2024/2025 Scouting year, annual pack dues for the Wolf rank total $50. Please see the Pack Treasurer, Nick Mead, to make full or partial payment.
After completing the Wolf program, the Scouts will transition to Bear Cubs, where they will continue their Scouting experience!
