In order to make rank, a Webelos Cub must complete the 5 required adventures and at least 2 of the elective adventures. The required adventures are summarized below but can be found in much further detail in your Scout's handbook:
Webelos Walkabout - In this adventure, Webelos Cubs will plan and complete a den 2-mile walk outside while demonstrating Leave No Trace and Outdoor Code principles.
My Community - In this adventure, Webelos Cubs will learn about majority and plurality types of voting and will speak with an elected official.
My Family - In this adventure, Webelos Cubs are encouraged to learn more about their family's traditions.
My Safety - In this adventure, the Protect Yourself Rules will give Webelos Cubs guidance on keeping themselves safe. Webelos Cubs will also identify ways to use electronics responsibly and ways to protect their body when they're playing or working.
Stronger, Faster, Higher - In this adventure, Webelos Cubs will plan, cook, and eat a balanced meal and perform personal exercises to boost heart rate.
Beyond these required adventures, there are various elective adventures from the handbook that we include in our Scouting program that include activities like creating a piece of art, learning about basic tools and their proper use, practicing Cub Scout Knife Safety rules and more while teaching the Webelos Cubs the values in the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
For the 2024/2025 Scouting year, annual pack dues for the Webelos rank total $60. Please see the Pack Treasurer, Nick Mead, to make full or partial payment.
After completing the Webelos program, the Scouts will transition to Arrow of Light Scouts, where they will continue their Scouting experience!
